    • Friday workshop: Sadhana – Cultivating a spiritual practice in the Modern World

In the Yoga Sutras, Patanjali gives us three essential components to Sadhana that address issues arising in the body, mind, and spirit. Learn what these tools are and how to apply them in a way that will transform your relationship to yourself and your practice.

    • Saturday workshop 1.: Beyond Asana: An Introduction to the deeper dimensions of yoga

    Chanting & Pranayama & Meditation

    • Saturday workshop 2.: Strengthening the Spine and Cleansing the Nervous System

Backbending and Pranayama – what these practices have in common? In this workshop students will explore the connection of prana (vital life energy) with the cleansing and strengthening of the nervous system through gentle asanas, kriyas and pranayama. These practices will be highly beneficial and accessible to everyone, regardless of your level of experience.

    • Sunday workshop: Yoga Techniques, safe principles of practice & questions

We will look more in depth at the correct alignment and energetic principles that accompany specific postures in the Ashtanga Yoga practice. The workshop is a chance to receive guidance regarding the biomechanics of troublesome asanas, techniques for addressing particularly dense areas of the body, and new strategies to work intelligently and therapeutically to support the healing of old injuries. There will be time for students to ask practice related questions or other yoga related questions.
