You are a gift. Open up. Be present.
Dear Ashtangis,
As most of you already know, the Canton of Lucerne has decided to implement even stricter rules than BAG suggested and all sport venues have to close as of today. With a heavy heart, I will also have to close our studio for the next couple of weeks, at least till January 22nd. It was great to see you coming so regularly in the last few months and I loved the quiet, focused energy in the classes. I’m looking forward to experiencing it again after this short break we have to take!
Here you can find more detailed information about the next couple of weeks:
- As we did during the last lockdown, I will again teach more online classes through Zoom. In order for you to maintain your routine, the classes will take place during our regular practice times. I will start with five classes per week, but if there is enough interest, I will be happy to add more – perhaps an early morning one or a lunch class – feel free to let me know what your needs are. I’ve already posted the schedule to the website and here you can find some general info about online classes. I know some of you are sceptical about this format, and so was I, but it is really worth trying out – last time I’ve received very good feedback about these classes.
- Your yoga passes will be paused, you can use the ramaining credits/days after we reopen. If you join the online classes you can decide to either use your regular pass or pay separately a discounted price for single online classes.
- Apart from the online classes, I will stay in touch with you through our WhatsApp group. As I did in the past months, I will post there some short videos, practice tips and other things related to the practice. You are always welcome to ask your questions and send me requests about what you would like to learn. Please text me, if you’d like to be added to the group.
- I had a few requests for private classes in the next couple of weeks. I’m still in the process of clarifying if private classes are possible at the moment – if you were interested, please get in touch with me directly.
- Last but not least, if you are still looking for Christmas gifts for your loved ones, I have beautiful gift vouchers available. You can buy a voucher for a single class, any yoga pass, a workshop or a private class. If you decide to buy one, I can post it to you or you can pick it up from the studio at your convenience.
I wish you all a very happy Christmas and a good start into the New Year. I know it will be a different holiday for many of us, but I hope you can make the most out of it – take rest, eat good food, recharge your batteries and don’t forget to unroll your yoga mat every now and then 🙂
Love,
Martyna
